Johnston Lecture   Thursday, April 6, 4:00 p.m. Benoit Denizet-Lewis, contributing writer, The New York Times Magazine and formerly a senior writer at Boston Magazine and staff writer at the San Francisco Chronicle.  Denizet-Lewis is a two-time finalist for the prestigious $10,000 Livingston Award for journalists under the age of thirty-five.  More information at benoitlewis.com

Ruhl Lecture :  Thursday, May 25, 4:00 p.m.  Ann Marie Lipinski, senior vice president and editor of the Chicago Tribune. Lipinski has served the Chicago Tribune as a reporter and editor for over twenty years.  In 1993, she directed the Tribune’s yearlong, award-winning series “Killing Our Children”; in 1988, she won a Pulitzer Prize for reporting the 1988 series, “City Council: The Spoils of Power.”
