The Executive-in-Residence Program brings advertising professionals into the classroom.

The Richard Ward Executive-in-Residence Program, made possible by a gift from Richard Ward, ’Business 77, brings advertising professionals to the school for two to three days of intensive interaction with J-school students in the advertising sequence. A portion of Ward’s $300,000 gift also created the Richard Ward Presentation Fund, which provided Allen Hall’s Winter Presentation Room with a comprehensive sound and projection system. Ward is president of the San Francisco-based Ward Family Foundation as well as a University of Oregon Trustee and member of the School’s Journalism Advancement Council.
